Over the millennia, human relationships with animals have taken some extraordinary forms. Animals have been worshipped as gods, reviled as evil spirits or as symbols of human depravity. They have been cruelly mistreated as mindless automata, tried and executed for criminal acts, and welcomed into our families as loved companions. And because we have always lived at their expense, animals have also provided a rich and disturbing source of moral conflicts and paradoxes. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the industrial West. Our society is re-examining its whole relationship with animals and the natural world. Until recently, issues such as animal welfare, wildlife conservation and environmental protection were considered the domain of small, idealistic minorities. Now, they have become matters of widespread public and political concern. But is this sudden explosion of interest in the plight of non-human animals purely a western phenomenon without cultural parallels or historical precedents? Five Beautiful Stars

I have been waiting since August 2013 for this book to come out, I cannot wait to read it!!!
You need to read A Taylor-Made Life before you read this book and when you do make sure you have tissues near by because you will be crying your eyes out

I have now completed the book and loved it. I did cry while reading parts of it but it definitely was not as sad as the first book, which I am grateful for (that book killed me). I have been dying to know what Gavin wrote in the letter that was given to Matt and we find out in this book although that doesn't happen for quite a while.
There is an age gap between Brad and Taylor with all of the stuff Taylor has been through she is more grown up then most 20 year olds, so the only time her age bothered me was when everyone was drinking and when she finally had a drink she got drunk. I really liked the chemistry between Brad and Taylor and I liked that Matt was a part of her life as well. Aaron the cutest little guy was often a scene stealer because really he was just like his dad..total cuttie pie.
This was a great read and I am so glad that Kary Rader finished it. I know A Taylor-Made Life was a very sad read and it has stayed with me since I read it almost two years ago. A Taylor-Made Love while not as sad and didn't make as much of an impact on my heart it will still stick with me.

Thank you Kary Rader for allowing your readers to grieve an appropriate amount of time so that we were OK with Taylor being ready to move on.

Seriously fantastic book!!! I didn't think my heart could handle it, but I went in anyway. I'm so glad I did!!

I still have goosebumps and I finished it 15 minutes ago.

You can't help but root for Taylor. She's been handed such crap and keeps on going. This sequel kept me on the edge of my seat and starling pages here and there as much as I could. It's a book you can seriously sit down and devour in one sitting if you have the time.

Brad. Holy crap! I wasn't sure of what I thought of him from the first book, but this book just catapulted him into my list of BBFs. He's alpha. He's smart. And he's hot.

The secondary characters were awesome as well. I am really hoping to get some more books from this one.

Aaron. Sweet baby Aaron. He's adorable and I just wanted to grab him and squeeze him.

I highly recommend these books. They're fantastic and will go on my list of books that I'll reread when I'm not sure what to read. Love them!!

Taylor Smith-Taylor is a 20 year-old widow and cancer survivor trying to run her late husband's billion dollar gaming business. With the help of her attorney Brad Richards help she is able to keep her vow to keep TME and her late husband Gavin's memory alive. Brad and Taylor work tirelessly on Taylor's new idea using the company's funds, but when a critical accounting error nears the company towards Bankruptcy she doesn't know what to do. Between the company failing and Taylor and Brads relationship she must make a choice on which road to take. Salvage the company or sell and move on...in more ways than one.

Taylor has gone through so much in her short 20 years and seems more grown up than some people I know at that age or heck any age. Her passion and drive is shown so brightly through Kary Rader's words it is hard not to love her and care for her throughout her story. This is the second novel in the Taylor Made series and I assure you I will read the first one to get the full story. You don't have to read the first novel to understand what is going on in A Taylor-Made Love but it helps with the back story of Taylor. A Taylor-Made Love will make you laugh, cry, swoon, and cry some more, and the best part fall in love and believe in life after the passing of a loved one. Kary Rader has done an amazing thing in creating Taylor and her family and their world. Kary Rader congratulations on her amazing novel and I will be awaiting more from you!

VERY GOOD ATLAS FOR OUR SPECIALTY

The text is excellent. Well written and concise with outstanding diagrams and photos . It weighs about 20 lbs. It is available on Kindle but it's another $300 plus. I feel that it should be available on your personal Kindle if you purchased the hardback. That is the only reason for 4 stars. I would have given it 5 stars but for over $300, the Kindle version should be available at no extra cost. It's an "at home book". I will update once I have read more of the book and/or if I have made an error and am indeed permitted to use the Kindle version. The other option would have been to make it a 2 or even a 3 volume set as a 6 to 7 lb book is easy enough to tote.

the best book published to date for our specialty

Hands down, the best book published to date for our specialty. Only wished it was released years ago, before I wasted so much money on other books in our specialty. No other book is even close to representing the information contained in this masterpiece. The diagrams & pictures are so detailed, a monkey could follow the instructions. Pure genius. If you don't own this book, you are wrong. A must have addition to your knowledge library.

best book I have found. Pictures are amazing. The format is a step-by-step layout which I find the best way to learn, especially when reviewing surgeries prior to going to the OR. I find myself making my notes in a step-wise manner and this book nails it. Would highly recommend this.

The O'Sullivan Book is a Great Reference and this International Version is the More Practical Purchase

I have the ebook, but wanted a hard copy of the textbook. I chose the international version because brand new it is cheaper and it has all the same information. This book isn't hardcover and the pages aren't glossy, but that doesn't matter to me. Though, I just noticed that a hardcover version is being sold. I didn't have that option before. Also, I don't know if the domestic version has additional online access to info, but as far as I can tell, this version does not. Again, that doesn't matter to me.

The O'Sullivan Physical Rehabilitation book has excellent information for certain diagnoses that PTs and PTAs will mostly encounter during their practice. It also has chapters on examination that can be generally applied to any diagnosis. It is organized well and easy to understand. I have heard that this book is used in more rehabilitation classes than any other book in both PT and PTA programs. Whether that is true or not, it is a great reference to study for the licensing exam as well as during practice. If you need this book for class or simply for reference, I highly recommend buying the international version.

Allysa Torey and Jennifer Appel are the founders of the Magnolia Bakery in New York City. In 1999 Jennifer Appel left to open Buttercup Bake Shop, which has two locations in Manhattan, where she resides with her husband and daughter. You love it, but your waistline won't

If you don't actually own any of the previous magnolia cookbooks, you'll find this one is PERFECT. Fantastic recipes, from frostings and cakes to muffins and cookies. I use the cream cheese recipe in here as my go-to frosting recipe.

Honestly, the book is great. It's a great staple for my recipe library and the recipes range in difficulty from easy to hard. If you don't have this in your cupboard, then I would make sure it gets there!!

implementation methods in Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
The book covers default probability estimation (scoring, structural models,
and transition matrices), correlation and portfolio analysis, validation, as well

Practical, but not superficial

Clearly, Excel is not even remotely the best platform to perform large scale credit risk modeling or analysis. However, Excel is probably the most concise, neutral platform from which to demonstrate the techniques involved in implementing the models discussed in the book.

** Note, please do not rely on this book as your main source for learning the mathematical and economical nuances of these models.

A win for the books!

My nephew talked nonstop about this book over the Thanksgiving holiday. Seeing as how his birth is the week after Thanksgiving I told him it would be my gift to him. As far as I have heard he was over the moon to have gotten this one and the construction book one in the series.

I have never seen my nephew sit still for longer than 3 minutes on a good day but these books cause him to lay down, completely enthralled for hours! A huge happy plus sign for me! I'm all for more books and less electronics most times.

Helpful to beginners

These books are good for those just starting to play minecraft. I got this one so that I could understand the different mechanics of redstone better. It was helpful but anyone who has played the game for some time will quickly outgrow these books.

My kid picks out his bedtime story book, and more often than not it is this one. He has read it cover to cover several times. He tries to replicate the instructions from the book into his game. It's great for the minecraft obsessed kid. Gives him something to do when he's done with screens for the day.
